The first step in creating your perfect polished floor is choosing how much of the stone (aggregate) you’d like to expose, and the level of shine you’re after. There are a number of options:
Burnished concrete/surface polish - A clean and modern, this is one of our most popular finishes. We polish the very top surface of the concrete just enough to avoid exposing the stone underneath creating a smooth, sleek look that lets the natural tones of the concrete shine through. 
Salt and Pepper Finish - A classic and stylish choice. We remove around 1mm of the surface to reveal a fine sprinkle of aggregate, giving the floor a lightly speckled appearance that resembles salt and pepper. 
Hit and Miss Finish - The hit and miss finish reveals a varied amount of aggregate for a more natural, artistic look. It’s full of character and completely unique to each project. 
Full Exposure Finish - With this finish, we grind deeper (up to 3–5mm) to reveal lots of stone across the floor, showcasing the full beauty of the aggregate. It’s a refined, sophisticated look that really stands out. 

The next step is to decide the level of polish you would like on your polished concrete floor:
Matte Finish - Low-sheen and low-maintenance, a matte finish has a natural, understated feel—perfect for modern, minimalist spaces. It’s more forgiving on marks, but can hold a bit more dirt due to its open surface. 
Satin Finish - The best of both worlds! Satin gives a soft glow and gentle reflection without being too shiny. It works well in just about any space—from homes to offices and retail stores. 
Semi-Gloss Finish - This mid-range sheen brings out the depth and beauty of the concrete while offering great durability. It’s a great option for areas that need to look sharp and stand up to daily wear and tear. 
Full Gloss Finish - Go all out with a mirror-like shine! A full gloss finish adds glamour, maximises light, and is built to last. It’s ideal for high-end spaces like showrooms, hotels, or anywhere you want to impress. 

We do have some other finishing options that include:
Grind and Seal / Honed Concrete - Looking for something budget-friendly that still looks great? Grind and seal is a fantastic alternative. We grind the surface to your desired level of stone exposure, then apply a protective sealer in matte or gloss. It’s a great option for spaces where polishing isn’t suitable—plus it helps guard against stains and water.
